Reviewing communications
Barkers was recently asked to conduct a stakeholder audit of Communities Scotland’s publications to find out if they are being targeted properly and establish how successful they are in contributing to the organisation’s wider strategic objectives.
Working with local offices we identified key individuals for in-depth interviews, focus groups and telephone surveys. Both qualitative and quantitative data was collated and referred to within the final report.
This ambitious project brought together opinions from all over Scotland to discuss areas such as the role and relationship each stakeholder has with Communities Scotland, general communications issues, branding, thoughts on the publications and the next steps in communication.
The research findings, which were largely positive, will help the communications team to improve their publications and overall communication with stakeholders by enabling decisions to be taken from a position of knowledge.
