Jacqueline has ten years public relations experience with a range of different clients in private, public and voluntary sectors.

She has worked on a range of public relations campaigns for private sector accounts from the hotel, food and drink, professional services, transport, recruitment, IT and security industries. These include clients such as Novotel, Gael Limited, ADT Fire and Security and A McLelland & Sons.

Jacqueline has also developed PR campaigns for a number of public sector bodies such as Jobcentre Plus and a number of NHS Trusts, including Ayrshire and Arran Acute Hospitals NHS Trust where she spent a year in-house.

She currently manages media relations for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the UK's largest surgical college.  In this role she continues to manage a communication programme which aims to engage the general public on the complex issues of surgical training.

Jacqueline is also working with the Scottish Executive on its Volunteering campaign, which brings her in contact with a variety of groups across the voluntary, private and public sectors, and the Equal Opportunities Commission for which she has developed a PR strategy and events programme to launch the Gender Equality Duty.

She has also developed a PR plan to help an NHS Trust in Yorkshire promote its Stop Smoking Support Service to local people, which is now being implemented by the Barkers PR team.

Over the past year, she has also worked on a number of projects, including the 2006 Census Test and Private Water Supplies, which both required awareness raising campaigns, as well as a local information campaign for the IHPBA Conference in Edinburgh and a publications review for Communities Scotland.

Jacqueline has a BA Honours degree in Communication and Mass Media and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
